  I inadvertently made a wrong turn into the drive of the church heading east on Market St. Immediately realizing I made a wrong turn I "very slowly" drove through the parking lot. It seems they have a day care and as I slowed for some children playing in the drive a women with the children aggressively threw her hand up as if to stop. I was going all of three miles an hour (or less) coming to a stop because I wondered why they had children in the drive on a hill playing on scoters a short distance from the street. Even after the children moved out of the way the women kept her hand up. I could not understand why but say patiently waiting. It was soon apparent why she was holding me there a women ran up from behind me and asked me to roll down my window. I informed her that I saw the children as she began to "dress me down" in a very rude and condescending manner that this was not a cut through. I told her I understood that and had simply made a wrong turn but I was way too old for her to scold me! She informed me she would be happy to call the Fairlawn police and have them explain to me that it was not a cut through.
  Now I have to say in a day and age when black males are being shot by police for little or no reason I was taken aback by her threat to call the police on me because I was offended by her tone and inappropriate response. I of course suggested she go right ahead and call the police as I had done nothing wrong (short of making a wrong turn).
  I pulled up a bit to assure the two women (who were kind of supervising the kids on the scooters on the hill heading towards the street), that I had in fact seen them and the children and they were in no danger of being hit. Miss "I'm gonna call the police came back to re-engage me and to tell me I had to leave the property!
  The funny thing is I met the now retired pastor of that church at a scholarship program where my then 17 year old son was the keynote speaker. He was a very kind man and I'm sure he would be appalled at the lack of Christian kindness shown to a fellow Christian who simply made a wrong turn.
  We're my children young enough to require child care I would NEVER entrust them to the women working here. Be forewarned
